What’s a good time to visit?

Anytime! Summer can be the hottest and busiest on the Amalfi Coast so we suggest a longer stay to cram in all the activities. Spring and Autumn are great as the flora change and its a perfect temperature for lovers of hiking or the beach. Winter the town is very quiet but is popular as a retreat for artists and writers.

What should I pack?

All our accommodations have plenty of storage. That said we recommend packing light as luggage will need to be brought up steps. We can assist you with that. We also suggest leaving extra room for all of the great shopping in town.

Weddings

We are located just behind the popular wedding venues of Villa Olivieri, Villa Giacomo and Palazzo Santa Croce. Often we have guests that want to stay close by to a destination wedding venue.

Is Giovanni’s House wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, no. Like most places in Positano (the vertical city), we are accessible primarily by steps.
